The Lake is Back.  The Levels of Lake Travis are currently just 2 ft. below the historic average for June.  The Sometimes Island in the main basin has disappeared.  Last week the LCRA uploaded an aerial video flying over Lake Travis, including the Cypress arm, Sandy Creek Arm, Hurst Creek arm, Hudson Bend, & Arkansas bend.

We will continue to watch the lake levels, and follow the LCRA website.  Chief Meteorologist at the LCRA Bob Rose has a new piece that investigates whether this summer will continue to see rainfall.  http://www.lcra.org/water/
